Location Interview are fun and challenging. You never know where it will take place and what the available light will be. I travel light and usually use a softbox and a 150w fresnell kicker, sometimes two. I set up fast, usually in under 5 min. I hate having subjects wait on me. There is seldom makeup so the light has to be flattering and look natural.

Here are some samples of Camera techniques I have been working on for many years. I'm always striving to make my camera work seamless and efortless. Making the viewer enjoy the action in front of the camera is my prime concern. I want people to appreciate the action from inside the sport, not as a spectator on the sidelines. My job controlling the Steadicam Merlin, Steadicam JR while on inline skates, a snowboard, skis or whatever else I use has to be totally transparent. The" Story" is King after all. The Aerial video section on the skydiving video is done by my good friend and Skydiving Master Cameraman Peter Raymond.
